BELIEVE

As we are out shopping during this wonderful season, we WILL see the word, "BELIEVE." It will of course be referring to "Santa," but may I remind us that the REAL St. Nickolas was a LOVER OF JESUS; The ONE who is the TRUE source and object of our belief. Whenever we see this wonderful word may we hear HIS WORDS whispered in our ears:     "He (Jesus) said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to BELIEVE all the prophets have spoken! Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter glory?" Luke 24:25   "To all who received him, to those who BELIEVED in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12   "FOr God SO LOVED THE WORLD that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever BELIEVES in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not BELIEVED in the name of God's one and only Son. "John 3:16-18   "Whoever BELIEVES in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life for God's wrath remains on him." John 3:36   "Many of the Samaritans from that town BELIEVED in him because of the woman's testimony." He told me EVERYTHING I EVER DID." So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became BELIEVERS. They said to the woman, "We no longer BELIEVE just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves and we KNOW THAT THIS MAN REALLY IS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD." John 4:39-42   "The work of God is this: to BELIEVE in the one he has sent." John 6:29   ""FOr my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and BELIEVES in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:40   "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who BELIEVES in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and BELIEVES in me will never die. Do YOU BELIEVE THIS?"  Yes, Lord," she told him, "I BELIEVE that YOU ARE THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, WHO WAS TO COME INTO THE WORLD." John 11:25-27   This season truly is about BELIEF. Not Belief in Santa Claus but rather BELIEF IN THE CREATOR OF ST. NICK, belief in the ONE who Christmas is ALL ABOUT'; Belief in the One who will very soon be sending a blanket of snow to remind us   "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." Isaiah 1:18   Blessings from Bombadil. May we not be like EVE who BELIEVED the LIE and was BELIED (see all those words in the word "believe?"  May we BELIEVE the TRUTH...JESUS CHRIST. Reverent submission

"During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions WITH LOUD CRIES AND TEARS to the ONE who could SAVE HIM FROM DEATH, and he was heard BECAUSE OF HIS REVERENT SUBMISSION.'  Hebrews 5:7     Today, if you think it is valuable and beneficial, ponder the words, 'Reverent" and "submission"   Sub= under   May I remind myself and you, that OUR MISSION IN LIFE is to be UNDER God's mission.   "For I have come down from heaven NOT TO DO MY WILL, but to do the will of him who sent me." John 6:38   ""The world must learn that I lOVE THE FATHER AND THAT I DO EXACTLY WHAT MY FATHER HAS COMMANDED ME." John 14:31     "The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar adn the truth is not in him.  If anyone OBEYS HIS WORD Gods' love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: whoever claims to live in him MUST WALK AS JESUS DID." 1 John 2:4-6   May our mission today, be obedience to what our Father commands. Help us, God. Happy November!

Happy November................a month to consider/meditate upon/ remember/ BE:                       THANKFULNESS/THANKFUL     "Give THANKS to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in HIS HOLY NAME; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and HIS STRENGTH; seek HIS FACE ALWAYS. REMEMBER the wonders he has done, his miracles...   For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy in his dwelling place......   Give THANKS TO THE LORD, for he is GOOD; His LOVE endures forever. Cry out, "Save us, O God oru Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may GIVE THANKS TO YOUR HOLY NAME, that we may glory in YOUR PRAISE." 1 Chronicles 16: 8-35  (minus a few)   Oh my friends, He is GOOD. Maybe that doesn't 'FEEL" true right now, but it IS TRUE. Remember.  Cry out!!!!  Make it your highest goal to cultivate a thankful heart and to make HIs goodness known.  Blessings from Bombadil. The other day I asked a woman, "What do YOU need?? How can we love YOU better?"   Her response: "Love my daughter. When you love her, you ARE loving ME."   Hmmmmm????? Do you think it sounds like this woman is made in the Imade of God??   "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the LOVE YOU HAVE SHOWN HIM as you have helped HIS PEOPLE and continue to help them. We want EACH OF YOU to show this same DILIGENCE to the VERY END." Hebrews 6:10 & 11 May we begin this day, live this day, end this day, loving and helping HIS PEOPLE and thus blowing a huge kiss of love to the 'MOST HIGH"..........Blessings from Bombadil.
