Any coffee lovers out there??? Oh, I know there are. Have you seen the latest billboard advertisement by Big B's coffee? I think it says something like this: "Always Better.......Never BItter." May that be said of us. May we be on our guard against ANY kind of bitterness. BITTER- having or being a taste that is sharp or unpleasant..harsh.....exhibiting or proceeding from strong animosity; marked by anguished resentfulness Instead, may we respond to life's hurts and disappointments in the way our heavenly Father teaches us: " If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even "sinners' lend to 'sinners' expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you WILL BE SONS/DAUGHTERS OF THE MOST HIGH, because HE IS KIND TO THE UNGRATEFUL AND WICKED. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful." Luke 6:32-36 We have a choice to make with everything that happens to us. We can either become bitter by going over and over the hurt done to us and not being forgiving or merciful or we can become better......."daughters of the Most High" by being like our Father and being merciful. One of those choices is by far the BETTER and more pleasant choice. What will you choose this day?
