".........your PEACE would have been like a river."

"This is what the Lord says- your Redeemer, the Holy One of Isreal:   ' I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is BEST for you, who directs you in the way you SHOULD go. IF ONLY you had PAID ATTENTION to my commands, your PEACE would have been like a RIVER, your righteousness like the waves of the sea."   Isaiah 48:17 & 18     Could it be, that the reason our peace isn't like that of a river, is because we aren't paying attention to his commands? Might it be that we aren't GOING in the way we SHOULD GO???   Do we know and obey his commands? May we search our hearts and His words. May we be obedient to the command to "watch our life closely" and "above all else to guard our hearts.."  that we may have PEACE LIKE A RIVER. Can you hear God's heart and longing for us, the people he so deeply loves, to experience PEACE?.........."IF only......"
